22 Spot Ladybird, This Ladybird is about 3mm in size, I first saw it on our Blackcurrant bush.
I seem to be getting the hang of this close up photo shoots of the feeders.
This is how I photograph or video the birds on our bird feeder.
A Panasonic Lumix GX-1 with a 14-42mm lens, I have a Pixel RW-221 remote release attached. I sit about 2 meters away and wait.
If I want video then I put my iPhone 4 on the tripod and use Motion Detection Camera app that only records video if motion is detected in the video frame.
I am now using Weebly's built in video player for the video elements because the Flickr one I was using to start with didn't show up on my iPhone. It means the quality has dropped a bit but I hope you find it ok.
Just been going through my photo library and found these other videos I filmed at the same time as I filmed the Redpoll, Now I'm not 100% sure if these are Redpolls or not. So if you can tell me I would be grateful.
Again these where filmed on an iPhone 4 with Motion Detection Camera.
We have been getting squirrels in our garden for years now but it's only recently that one of them has started coming into the garden while we are sat in it, After watching him for a while I set up my camera an a tripod and used a remote release to take some pictures, heres one of them.
On 18 July 2011 I managed to film a slug eating a leaf the video is about 1 minute long and you can see it's mouth opening and taking big bites out of the leaf. a couple of minutes later the leaf was gone.
