Again these where filmed on an iPhone 4 with Motion Detection Camera.
Just been going through my photo library and found these other videos I filmed at the same time as I filmed the Redpoll, Now I'm not 100% sure if these are Redpolls or not. So if you can tell me I would be grateful. Again these where filmed on an iPhone 4 with Motion Detection Camera.

I set up my iPhone on a tripod and launched an app called MD Cam (Motion Detection Camera), This app as the name suggests captures video if it detects movement in the video frame.
I filmed this footage on our bird table, We have never seen this bird before and on further research we thought it was a Common Rosefinch, We went to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Potteric Carr Nature Reserve and I showed it to a guy and he said it might be a Linnet or a Common Redpoll. So if you know what it is for sure then please let us know. Filmed on 1st March 2010. UPDATE: Thanks to Kate MacRae for confirming that this is a Common Redpoll. Kate has a website devoted to the wildlife in and around her garden, She has cameras beaming a live feed to her website. She was recently on BBC Springwatch 2012, This is where I first heard of her and the reason I'm doing our website. wildlifekate.co.uk |
