Yesterday there where lots of bugs flying around our flower bed so I decided to get the camera out and try to film them instead of just photographing them. When shooting macro the depth of field gets narrower so you have to get your focus on one point and hope the insects land there, Well that's what I did anyway. I filmed this clip on my Lumix GX-1 with the 14-42 power zoom lens and attached a +10 macro lens filter to the end of the lens. I do need to experiment with this as shooting macro videos is new to me, I am quite pleased with a couple of the shots in this clip. Hope you find it interesting.
Adrian Went out looking for the Hedgehog this evening but no sign of him, that's three nights now we havent seen him, hope he's ok and returns soon, We have put out some mealworms along with his regular food.
I took my camera out with a light and took a few photos of things crawling around, Most are bad shots but these two are the best. Adrian Found this little bug in our nettle patch near the pond this morning, Very accommodating it was too while I took it's photo. I have no Idea what type of bug it is til I do a bit of searching. Till then it's known as a Nettle Bug. :-) Identified as a Mirid bug nymph (Deraeocoris flavilinea) via ispot.org.uk |
